Statistical integration of multi-omics data inmicrobiome research will provide a holistic understanding of comprising microbial ecosystems.This data comes with methodological challenges,for example, dimensionality, compositionality, zero-inflatedness, heterogeneity and so on. We organize eight workgroups to discuss a wide variety ofmethodological challenges in microbiome multi-omics data.
